Carlos M. Teixeira

Carlos M. Teixeira has a Master’s Degree from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London and founded Vazio S/A (Void, Inc.) in 2002. The studio seeks an active position in which the city and its problems are seen as triggers of new projects, and associates commissions of commercial nature with the production of cultural events, publications of books and essays, and research that discuss new fronts in architecture and landscape design.
Carlos has published three books “History of the Void in BH” (CosacNaify), “Entre: Architecture from the Performing Arts” (Black Dog), and “Collateral Spaces” (ICC). He has shown his work at the São Paulo Architecture Biennale, Pavillon de l'Arsenal, Paris; Venice Architecture Biennale; the RIBA, London; The Victoria & Albert Museum, London; Sao Paulo International Art Biennale and other venues.
